ABSTRACT:
Raingage evaporation was eliminated by stopping airflow to and from the rainfall-holding container. Also, an inexpensive device for recording rain days was made by modifying an FW-1 type water stage recorder. Rain days for an entire month were recorded in one chart revolution using a battery-powered clock with 861-hour gears.
