Owens is the research leader for the Dale Bumpers Small Farms Research Center, USDA ARS, in Booneville, Arkansas. Michael Popp is a professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. John Pennington is an instructor-water quality educator for the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service in Little Rock, Arkansas.
