If this conflict is not resolved there is a concern that the relationship between livestock producers and the community will deteriorate to one of acrimony, harassment and lawsuits, with the eventual loss of livestock production from a given community. Land use planning provides an opportunity for the community and livestock producers to work together to develop an approach that Is fair, equltable, and contributes to a vibrant livestock Industry.
