Chequén Farm in Concepción, Chile, has not been plowed for 38 years and has been in continuous no-tillage for the last 19 years. Carlos Crovetto was invited to present information about his farming operation on Chequén farm. He presents various observations and measurements of soil changes that have occurred after the transition to no-tillage. Many positive changes in soil quality and productivity have been observed. Chequén Farm has become an international example of how no-tillage can be used to enhance long-term agricultural sustainability. ER -
