All material in the Journal of Soil and Water Conservation is copyrighted by the Soil and Water Conservation Society. Some JSWC articles are open access. These may be made publicly available and shared without permission. For all other content, permission for duplication, distribution (online or in print), or reuse, must be obtained.
Requests to make copies for educational use or to republish figures/tables can be made through the Copyright Clearance Center.
Authors
If you would like to reprint or reuse your own article (or portions of an article) in a new publication of which you are an author, no permission is required, provided proper citation of the original publication. If you require formal permission documentation, please contact pubs@swcs.org with your request.

Institutional Repositories
Articles for which authors have paid a fee to make open access may be posted on author websites and included in institutional repositories.
For articles that are not open access, authors may post the accepted version of the paper (in PDF format) to institutional repositories or employer websites after an 18-month embargo. The DOI and citation information must appear on the PDF. Final, edited articles may not be posted.
